FUDforum 2.6.10 was released on 16 February 2005. This release is no longer supported. Please upgrade to FUDforum 3.0.0 ASAP.

RC1

This release is a bug fixing release aimed at addressing some of the issues discovered after FUDforum 2.6.9.

Changes:

  • Fixed link to PDF manager.
  • Updated Japanese translation.
  • Fixed query failure on forum removal.
  • Fixed bug with pruning topics & attachments.
  • Consistency checker performance improvements for PostgreSQL and MySQL 4.1
  • Query optimizations for anonymous users.
  • Fixed rate topic check for anon users.
  • Work around around poor rename() implementation on Windows.
  • Fixed error during import scripts of all kinds that deal with attachments via the standard API.
  • Allow spoiler collapsing.

RC2

A fairly small release changes wise, the goal was to correct the few leftover bugs and clear the way for the final release in about a week or so.

Changes:

  • Fixed bug that would in some cases cause a pager to display an additional link.
  • Fixed theme optimization of path_info theme.
  • Fixed possible query failure in tree view.
  • Fixed installer query failure if installing on top of an existing install.
  • Allow setting of MODE in NNTP import to fail.
  • Removed pointless error block operators.
  • Simplify selmsg code by moving layout logic into templates.
  • Better name for spoiler toggle.

RC3

Another quicky release before the final, the main reason why this is not the final is to ensure that the pager works properly. The previous released fixed and introduced a bug, which this release fixes, so I want to make sure all pager problems are gone now.

Changes:

  • Fixed e-mail URLs in translations.
  • Fixed problems with prepared statements on persistent PostgreSQL connections.
  • Fixed pager bug introduced by previous release.
  • Fixed plain [quote] style.
  • Fixed attachment removal on message edit.
  • Fixed e-mail URLs in translations.
  • Fixed bug in forum/category management that allowed creation of category/forum without a name.

Final

After a fairly long release cycle here goes the final 2.6.10 release. The release is mostly a combination of changes found in RC1-RC3 with just a few very small changes being made since RC3. All FUDforum users are encouraged to upgrade to this version.

Changes:

  • Updated French translation.
  • Allow full customization of the HTML quote tag.
  • Fix possible query error during install.
