FUDforum 1.2.3

FUDforum 1.2.3 was released on 18 March 2002. This release is no longer supported. Please upgrade to FUDforum 2.0.0 ASAP.

RC1

The first release candidate of 1.2.3 is out. A very small release aimed at fixing a few bugs in 1.2.2 release. The fixed bugs are:

  • A bug on register form, which prevented the saving of birthdate
  • A bug on userinfo form, which prevented the user's image from appearing.
  • A bug on style admin control panel, which did not retrieve the image path correctly.
  • A bug on pre registration forms that caused a loss of the non-cookie session for unregistered users.
  • To the file browser added a work around for the rare times PHP's getcwd() call fails to return the current path.

I've also re-worked the install script, to allow for installation on systems where safe_mode is enabled.

Final

This release is aimed entirely at fixing a number of small bugs that appeared in the previous 1.2.X releases.

Beyond the reworking of the register_globals wrapper which now supports arrays passed by GET/POST and is somewhat faster there are no new features in this release.
