FUDforum 2.6.3 was released on 17 May 2004. This release is no longer supported. Please upgrade to FUDforum 3.0.0 ASAP.

A mixed bag of things in this release a few features and some rather important bug fixes as well. Pretty much something for everyone.
Fixes:
- Make ip fetching during registration use get_ip().
- Fixed query for MySQL 4.1.X inside getfile.
- Fixed IP printing in account approval form.
- Fixed cli handler for some admin control panels.
- Added missing </head> tag in the admin control panel header.
- Fixed bugs in the admin avatar manager.
- Fixed a bug that could result in duplicate entries inside the subscription tables.
- Fixed a bug that would result in incorrect template compilation order on some systems.
- Fixed e-mail notification logic.
- Fixed all/none link on the pmsg page when pager is in use.
- Various pagination fixes, mostly directed towards PATH_INFO theme.
- Fixed FUDcode parser that stopped parsing after unknown tag.
- Fixed arrangement of multiple file attachments,
- Fixed links to inlined file attachments in PATH_INFO theme.
Features:
- Better access denied errors for anon users.
- Added workaround for Konqueror bug with multipart forms.
- Display category name beside forum name on admin control panels that didn't do so before.
- Added user control panel.
- Removed SQ where not needed, much shorter URLs all around.
- Added author filter for the search page.
- Added tabindex to all userland forms.
- Set focus for all userland forms.

Not a very big list of changes and given the changes themselves unless major problems creep up this will be the last RC prior to the final.
Changes:
- Fixed e-mail notifications for admins/moderators inside access limited forums.
- Fixed layout on COPPA page.
- Set tabindex & setfocus for admin control panels.
- Workaround for some e-mail servers that replace the regular message-id header with non standard x-qmail-scanner-message-id one.
- Do not display "more unread messages" link if there are no such messages.
- Fixed PATH_INFO links of selmsg page.
- Fixed stop ignoring user link.
- Updated Chinese translation.
- Added option to allow disabling of e-mail notifications for subscribed topics & forums.
- Fixed buglet that prevented the "next page" link from appearing.
- Properly remove unconfirmed users.
- Added unconfirmed user indicator to the member list.
- Added rebuild all themes link to theme manager.
- Stricter URL session checks.
- Added a notice about the user search being case sensitive and arrange help instructions for member search better.

- Fixed inlining of attached images during preview.
- Fixed possible e-notice when editing a message.
- Fixed participate in the discussion link on full-body e-mail notifications inside the plain-text message.
- Show full recipient list for private messages.
- Allow the positioning of the POLL via the {POLL} tag.
- Fixed unread message redirection for topics that were never read.
- Fixed usage of htmlentities inside e-mail notifications.
- Do not enable notification by default for users imported from nntp and/or mailing lists.
Final
Here goes 2.6.3, a few small changes since 2.6.3RC3, but for the most part pretty much the same code.

- Converted <font> tags to <span> tags.
- Various code cleanups & simplifications.
- Set focus on the body of the message when writing a reply.
- Fixed selection of topic/message view for anon users.
- Display anon username in full body notifications.
- Better user detection on e-mail confirmation page.
- Fixed links in full body notification for PATH_INFO theme.
- RFC compliancy for encoded subjects.
- Grammatical correction for English translation.
- Do not display edit button for anon users.
- Updated Chinese translation.
- Optimize the empty trash routine for private messages.
