FUDforum 3.0.7 was released on 30 June 2016. Support for this release ended on 31 December 2017. Users still running 3.0.7 should upgrade their forums to FUDforum 3.0.9 ASAP!
Also note that this is the terminal release of the 3.0 series. Users on older releases will have to upgrade to this release before they will be allowed to upgrade to subsequent releases.
Requirements
The minimum requirements to run FUDforum 3.0.7 is:
- PHP 5.3 or higher.
- MySQL 5.0.2 (or higher) or one of the other supported databases like Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, etc.
Fixes
- Security fix: Prevent anonymous users from posting messages (unless explicitly allowed).
- Remove "magic_quotes" for PHP7 compatibility.
- Limit size of large images to 800px (max-width in forum.css)
- Remove redundant open lines after code blocks.
- Prevent new users from setting a homepage (often used for spam links).
- The botscout.plugin was updated.
- Removed the old (now defunct) afero system.
- Connecting over SSL to IRC servers that use self-signed certificates (patch by Kinetix).
- Fix for duplication of From and X-Mailer headers when send mails by SMTP (patch by ulrith)
