FUDforum 2.2.5 (Development Branch) was released on 06 August 2002. This release is no longer supported. Please upgrade to FUDforum 3.0.0 ASAP.

Announcement

This is a bug fixing release for that hopefully gets us one step closer toward the 2.3.0 stable.

The MAJOR change in this release involved modification of nearly all templates so that FUDforum's pages are fully HTML 4.01 Transitional compliant, which they are now according to W3C standards Smile

There were also a fair number of bug fixes that were added, below is the list of the major ones.

  • Fixed typos on admnntp control panel.
  • Added documentation about NNTP & Mailing List.
  • A far number of grammatical fixes as per Ron's suggestions. (thanks Ron)
  • Removed unused functions from cookies.inc.t
  • Fixed a bug in message editor, introduced somewhere in 2.2.4X
  • Updated Chinese translation.
  • Fixed online status in pmsg.php for the admin.
  • Fixed next/previous links in on private messages.
  • Fixed a pager bug in the search engine.
  • Fixed a bug with sending email notification with 'full body'.
  • Fixed a bug in SMTP send.
  • Added better error handling to filetomem() function.
