FUDforum 3.0.9

IMPORTANT: Users running FUDforum 3.0.0 to FUDforum 3.0.8 can upgrade to this release. Users on older FUDforum 2.x releases must first upgrade to version 3.0.0 before they can upgrade to subsequent releases.

FUDforum 3.0.9 was released on 18 May 2018. Support for this release will end on 31 December 2019. Users still running 3.0.9 should upgrade their forums to FUDforum 3.1.0 or higher ASAP!

Requirements

The minimum requirements to run FUDforum 3.0.9 is:

• PHP 7.0 or higher (tested with PHP 7.2).
• MySQL/MariaDB 5.5 (or higher) or one of the other supported databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, etc.

Known problems

Forums with nested categories will get a memory error in category manager. The fix is at https://sourceforge.net/p/fudforum/code/6181/

Improvements and fixes

• Mobile optimization for small screens (responsive design, CSS3 media queries, etc.)
• reCAPTCHA v2 support.
• Users can now use mysqli with UNIX sockets and enabling persistent connections.
• [Find User] page not loading (URL fixed).
• Fix help link in Admin Conrol Panel (it now opens the correct wiki page).
• Fix URL to download latest translations from the translatewiki.net website.
• The each() function is deprecated in PHP 7.2
